Quick hop and skip (and a couple of trains) to the French capital for croissants, art, and a view or two. Had a great time with my friend and the daughters. Personal highlight: the view from the top of … nope, not le tower, but the Arc de Triomphe.

How many trains does it take to get to Tuttlingen? Too many is the answer. Decided to fly this time. In terms of net travel time, I cannot say it was quicker, but I did not have to sprint from one platform to the next! And the Ricola sweets were a treat.
